Welcome to Indriya, a blog that explores the intersection of technology and innovation. The name Indriya, derived from Sanskrit, refers to the senses that shape our perception of the world. As a researcher and IP analyst, I'm passionate about harnessing the power of technology to sharpen our senses and gain new insights.
With a PhD in Physics and an MTech in Data Science Engineering, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and research experience to the table. My areas of expertise:
- IP Analysis: Prior art searches, patent landscape analysis, and insights on emerging trends in diagnostic medical imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound)
- PhD Research Experience: Design and development of a High-Frequency (HF) Doppler Radar System, with a doctoral thesis focused on modeling the Terrestrial F-Region Equatorial Anomaly. This research experience has given me a strong foundation in radar system design, signal processing, and ionospheric physics.
- Post-Doctoral Experience: As a post-doctoral researcher at the Naval Science and Technology Laboratory (NSTL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), I worked on underwater acoustics and sonar signal processing. This experience has provided me with expertise in signal processing techniques, underwater acoustic propagation, and sonar system design.
- Technical Expertise: Software development in C++, Python, Fortran, and parallel computing using GPU
