Ram Prasad Bismil (11 June 1897 -19 December 1927) was an Indian revolutionary who participated in mainpuri conspriacy of 1918, and the Kakori conspiracy of 1925, both against British empire.He well as being freedom fighter, he was also a patriotic poet and wrote in Hindi and Urdu using the pen name ram, agyat  and bismil. But, he became popular with the last name "Bismil" only. All of his poems have the intense patriotic feeling. He always wanted to see Indian as a free nation and dedicated himself to the cause of the country. On 9th August 1925,Ram Prasad Bismil along with his fellow followers looted the money of the British government  from the train while it was passing through Kakori, Lucknow. Except Chandrashekhar Azad, all other members of the group was arested. Ram Prasad Bismil along with other were given capital punishment. This great freedom of India was executed on 19th december 1927. Even if I have to face death a thousand times for the sake of my motherland, I shall not be sorry. Oh Lord ! Grant me a hundred births in Bharat. But grant me this too, that each time I may give up my life in the service of the motherland - Bismil.
